Dr. Amy Galdamez, is a Little Rock native and graduate of Pulaski Academy. She attended Tulane University in New Orleans with a Dean's Honor Scholarship and received her undergraduate degree in Cell & Molecular Biology in 2005. She then returned home for medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she received the Parents' Club Scholarship and the "Most Likely to Help a Patient" award.
Upon completion of her Doctorate of Medicine in 2009, she entered into her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology, also at UAMS. She graduated in June 2013 and joined Little Rock Gynecology and Obstetrics in October 2013. She has subsequently passed both the written and oral board examinations of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and she holds membership as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Galdamez has clinical interests that span from puberty through the postmenopausal years. She is proud to be offering a range of services including adolescent counseling, contraceptive management, initial infertility work ups, low risk obstetrical care, comprehensive gynecologic care, menopausal guidance, and single-incision surgeries. She also enjoys assisting women with breastfeeding, natural family planning, and pelvic floor problems. She is eager to create long-term relationships with her patients and to answer their reproductive health concerns. Beyond her clinical practice at Little Rock Gynecology and Obstetrics, she also serves as medical director of the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center.
Dr. Galdamez is happily married with two young sons and one young daughter.
She was recognized by Little Rock Soiree' Magazine's Women to Watch in 2014.
